Katia graduated from the University of Fribourg Switzerland with a BA (Hons) in French/German. She started her career at the Back Office Department of Banque SBA, where she spent three years before moving onto KommunalKredit Int Bank to join as Back Office Manager. She was responsible for Swift payments, settlement of MM/FX/Swaps/CP and processing all daily payments and daily reconciliations. After seven years with KommunalKredit Int Bank, Katia moved to Omega Investments, as Head of Back Office Department managing a team of assistants. She was responsible to managing/supervising the respective Department in all aspects, while also preparing client reports and reconciliations.
With 25 years of banking experience, Katia joined our Team in November 2012 and under the capacity of the Head of Banking Department, she leads the respective Department on a day-to-day basis. Katia is responsible for establishing new banking relations, following and monitoring client funds and client requests and strengthening banking relationships. She regularly participates in training programs, as part of her continuous professional development to ensure the Departments compliance with regulatory requirements.
